Castillo Diablo

Castillo Diablo, California is the fictional town that was mentioned at the beginning of book one as the place Elliana had been before being brought to Terra. In the coming editions of the series, it will be one of the main settings.

This fictional town is a medium-sized town on the Central California Coast. It’s halfway in between San Francisco and Los Angeles, located in San Luis Obispo County.

On first glance, the town seems like a normal town. It’s the dominant economy is agriculture, wine, and tourism. But being that is located near a major portal between the Earth and Terra dimensions, there has always been a paranormal presence in town. Castillo Diablo, and its sister town of Willow Fog, Maine, tend to draw in paranormal enthusiasts due to what seems to be boiling just under the surface.

One of the most prominent families in CD is the Vasilyev family. Charlie Vasilyev and his family have owned and operated their farm just outside of town since the 1850s when his Russian born ancestor arrived and purchased the large property. In coming chapters, Charlie will learn more about his family land, and about his town, than he ever thought he knew.

I am a writer and a graphic designer who has a lot to say about life! I am a woman in her 30's who lives in California with her husband. Most of all, I am an explorer. I express myself through the written word and the visual world. I have Aspergers but I don't see it as a 'disability' but rather, an identity. It is who I am.
